Azure SQL Database — add Azure Active Directory users
When you create an Azure SQL database, during provisioning, you specify a SQL Server authentication administrator account.
But, using this type of an account, you can’t provide an access to Azure AD accounts.
So that, first thing is to grant an admin privilege to your Active Directory account to an Azure SQL database.
Go to your database resource, select an Azure Active Directory position and choose a Set admin button.
Find and set your user.
Save your choice.
From now on, you are able to connect to the database as an AD user.
Now, you are able to add another AD users through a SQL code.
