Power BI — many files from Data Lake

Short story. You want to import file from Data Lake into Power BI.

I have three files in my Data Lake.

First case — more obvious.

You can ‘expand’ all files choosing ‘Combine & Load/Transform Data while you connectiong to ADL.

Your data is avilable in Power BI and ready to work with.

Second way — not so obvious.

File references are inside Power Bi. You can expand them in Power Query Editor. Select ‘Combine Files’ button.

Files have been expanded.
